A block of ice is sculptured for display at the entrance to the dining room on formal night.
All that for a display in the Rotterdam Dining Room on formal night. On Monday, July 27th, we were having a sea day in the Pacific with heavy seas, so it was Jeannie’s night off to recuperate from sea sickness. This was our assigned “fixed early” table in the dining room and early wasn’t really so early given a four hour Alaska time zone difference. We had another formal night on July 31st when the sculpture from the above photos was used.
On Saturday, August 1st for our last cruise evening, we ate dinner in the Pinnacle Dining Room as the ship passed through College Fjord.
